Sales Development Executive

Due to the rapid expansion of the business, we have an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Sales Development Executive to join our highly successful sales team.

Ideally candidates will have a successful history of working in a Sales/Telesales environment with the ability to both strengthen current relationships as well as develop new ones. 

The salary will be £18,000, plus a performance based bonus.

This is an office based role and the key responsibilities will include:

Grow and develop customer relationships to increase sales.
 You will be assigned a portfolio of accounts and you will take full responsibility for them.
You will be responsible for the end to end process from commercial conversation, to order entry, through to delivery.
Proactively prospecting for new business
Fully investigate leads that will be supplied to you.
Supply the customers directly with samples and/or prices where needed.
Either retain leads in your own portfolio, or alternatively pass them to an Area Sales Agent or a National Account Manager.
Where appropriate, arrange meetings with Area Sales Agent/National Account Manager for customers.
Proactively help drive the business forward.

The successful applicant will have a real can do attitude and enjoy working in a motivated sales environment. They will also need to be highly organised, tenacious, curious and confident to have a commercial telephone conversation at all levels. Whilst this role will mainly be working on your own initiative, you will also need to be able to work as part of the wider sales team.

Marketing & Design Assistant

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing & Design Assistant to work with our Product Team to assist with design projects, including production of the company brochures and development of private label products. 

The salary will be dependent on experience.

This is an office based role and the key responsibilities will include:

•             Working alongside product selection team and brochure designer to assist with the

               design and set up of company brochures.

•                    Liaising with the sales team to understand customer’s needs

•                    Manipulation of customer’s own artwork/logos

•                    Creation of new artwork working to brief and brand guidelines

•                    Creation of all own label/bespoke samples

•                    Sending out of samples

•                    Updating the company website, social media and e-newsletter

•                    Photography and photo editing

•                    Production of marketing material from design to supply

•                    Conceptual displays and planograms for exhibitions and retail

•                    Provide marketing support to sales and export team

Candidates should have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).  They will need to be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail, self motivated and creative.  Experience of website content management systems is advantageous.

Inventory & Procurement Manager

Due to the rapid expansion of the business, we have an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Inventory & Procurement Manager to lead our highly successful stock control team.

Ideally candidates will have a successful history of working in a stock control and procurement environment with strong negotiating skills and eye for detail when forecasting seasonal lines. 

The salary will be £25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience.

This is an office based role and the key responsibilities will include:

•             Lead and manage the Stock Team

•             Achieve the best value from our suppliers

•             Build a strong relationship with existing suppliers

•             Benchmark our costs against the Market/Competitors/Suppliers

•             Explore the potential of improved commercial terms

•             Work alongside the Product Manager and attend regular product selection meetings

•             Support the Product team with commercial negotiation on new lines

•             Liaising with other functions in the business to support their activities

•             Keep all suppliers details and products up to date

•             Helping to root cause and report any issues in the supply chain

•             Raise and review purchase orders in relation to year round, seasonal lines and new products

The successful applicant will be already working in a Procurement and Supply chain role, preferably with either short shelf life products or with seasonal products. They will need to be highly organised with an eye for detail and the confident to take ownership with the support of a dedicated team.
